Review
Automated quality checks review each prepared ad. Clips that need changes are held or revised before they can be scheduled.
Publish
Approved videos receive posting times. The Studio uploads them to the connected channel and checks YouTube's processing and scheduling status.
Why Google access is requested
The authorized operator connects the intended YouTube channel through Google's sign-in and consent flow. The Studio requests permission to upload videos and read YouTube account information.
It uses that access to confirm the connected channel, upload approved video files with their titles, descriptions and posting times, and check those uploads' processing and visibility. It does not request Gmail, Google Drive, contacts or calendar access.
